The purpose of this session is to engage instructional technology facilitators in the process of developing a professional development session that leverages technology. Friday Institute facilitators will assist participants in applying the NETS standards for teachers, embedding current Web 2.0 tools and aligning to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
1. Setting Goals SCENARIOS
On this Google Form (please don't "submit" form until after step 2)
- Participants develop three SMART Goals for PD session
- Participants determine NETS standards addressed by PD
2. Choosing Technology Tools (Continuing Google Form)
Participants select/introduce tools that would be most effective in their scenarios and "submit" their form.
3. Planning Delivery
Returning to school/regional groups.
Participants outline their PD session (SMART Goals, Addresses NETS, links to tools/tutorial videos) on their LEA/school's page (linked below) on the ITF wiki.

4. Evaluation
Participants construct a brief G-form for their teachers to record "plusses/deltas" and future needs.
Participants place a link to this form on their school's page on the ITF wiki
Closing
All participants are encouraged to examine, comment, and copy on/from colleague's PD plans as needed.
